Terms of Service

Last updated October 12, 2026

1. The service

DealerSign provides software for managing digital signage: a web dashboard, an API, the Signage Player software and the web player for compatible commercial displays (together, the “Service”). These terms apply to the business that creates an account (“you”) and everyone you invite.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your users, their roles and keeping sign-in details secure. Tell us promptly at the address below if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Plans, trial and billing

  • New accounts get a 14-day trial for up to 3 screens.
  • Paid plans are billed per paired screen, monthly or yearly in advance, through Stripe. Taxes are added where required.
  • Changes in screen count are prorated. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
  • We never blank your existing screens for billing reasons; pairing new screens beyond your plan is refused.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the media, data feeds and text you put into the Service, and you are responsible for having the rights to display them, including vehicle photos, prices and offers, and for advertising and financing disclosures that apply to your business. You grant us only the rights needed to store, process and display that content on your screens.

5. AI-generated content

AI features suggest ads and copy. Suggestions are never shown on your screens until a user of your account approves them. Check prices, rates and claims before approving: you are responsible for what you publish.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service for unlawful, deceptive or infringing content, to attack or overload the Service, or to access other customers’ data.

7. Hardware

Players run on hardware you buy and own. We provide the player software “as is” and do not warrant third-party hardware.

8. Availability and support

We aim for high availability, and players keep showing cached content when the Service or your internet connection is down. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost sales.

10. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or are unpaid. After closure, your content is deleted within 30 days, except where we must keep records by law.

11. Changes

We will give at least 30 days’ notice of material changes to these terms by email or in the dashboard.
